[There's a familiar little girl sitting on the ground next to a wall vent in one of the standard passenger cars. She's wrapped up in her usual blanket - time for a replacement really soon, it's rather dusty - and she's huddled over a pad of paper and a small box of crayons. Looks like she's drawing something. Valentine's Day Event~~~!

On Valentine's Day, the trains inhabitants wake to find the intercom playing cheesy love songs (don't worry, it'll shut up eventually), and a rose set beside their beds - wherever it is they're sleeping. Attached to the stem is a short, simple note. Unfortunately it's in terrible rhyme:

[Ken's sitting and reading in the library car, the book Lavi got him for Christmas, actually. Someone needs to introduce the boy to the concept of reading fiction. There's a notebook beside him, he stops every so often to put the book down and scribble out some notes in his messy messy handwriting.
